Hochul’s pandemic emergency too little, too late for upstate hospital
Dec. 2, 2021 – Hospitals in upstate New York are dealing with their worst pandemic circumstances of 2021, as the result of exacerbated staffing shortages, a spike in COVID-19 cases and a lack of meaningful relief from the state, according to Michael Stapleton, president & CEO of UR Medicine Thompson Health in the Finger Lakes.
