New York to impose COVID-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers

August 24, 2021 – In an effort to combat the spread of COVID-19, particularly among the state’s most vulnerable New Yorkers, a large group of health care workers will be required to get vaccinated for the virus by the end of September or risk losing their jobs.
