March 2, 2020: Environmental issues in the budget and session

Senate Environmental Conservation Committee Chair Todd Kaminsky is pumping the brakes on legislation expanding New York’s “Bottle Bill” while he pushes for a task force to examine fraud in the bottle redemption process.

Kaminsky also talked about the proposed environmental bond act and potential changes to the approval process of new energy projects in the state.
