January 13, 2020: Vaping ban in NY w/Sen. Brad Hoylman

A state Supreme Court has blocked the Governor’s flavored vaping ban. Acting Supreme Court Judge Catherine Cholakis said a ban should come via the legislature and not executive order. Sen. Brad Hoylman (D-Manhattan), chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, discussed the next steps for the legislature.
