State looks to mitigate the risk of extreme heat
July 24, 2024 – After two years of work, the Hochul administration released a plan this summer for mitigating the health effects of extreme heat in New York. We discuss the interagency report with Leo Bachinger and Mark Lowery, the program manager and assistant director, respectively, of the state DEC’s climate change office.
