New York’s plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions

Dec. 22, 2022 – After more than two years of work, the state Climate Action Council has completed its roadmap for New York to follow to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions. NYSERDA President and CEO Doreen Harris and New York DEC Commissioner Basil Seggos, the co-chairs for the council, explain what the plan means for putting a price on carbon, building electrification and the cost of a green transition.
