Transitioning New Yorkers with severe mental illness into their community

July 29, 2026- After more than a decade, the state has satisfied a legal settlement requiring more than 1,000 New Yorkers with severe mental illness get served in community-based programs. We discuss the resolution with Clarence Sundram, an independent monitor for the settlement.
