Voters weigh in on state budget components

May 21, 2025 – In the aftermath of the state budget being adopted, we check in with the Siena College Research Institute’s Steve Greenberg to discuss a new survey of how New Yorkers feel about some of the more high profile items that were in this budget, like restrictions on smartphones in schools and rebate checks. We also get an update on the race to be the Republican nominee for governor.
