Dearth of septic systems rules and oversight in New York

Aug. 30, 2024 – A dearth of state and local rules governing septic system oversight and operations could be creating environmental problems in New York, according to Claudia Braymer, deputy director of Protect the Adirondacks, who also discusses legislation designed to give property owners information about property septic upkeep.
