Republicans and biz leaders want more action on retail theft

March 7, 2024 – Capital Region Chamber President & CEO Mark Eagan and Sen. Jake Ashby, a Capital Region Republican, want to make it easier for judges to hold accused shoplifters behind bars before trial in order to address retail theft in New York.
