New York starts to tap environmental bond act funds

Feb. 01, 2024 – At the end of 2023, the Hochul Administration began spending some of the $4.2 billion environmental bond act approved by voters in 2022. We get an update on these spending efforts and discuss environmental spending in the governor’s budget proposal with NYS DEC Commissioner Basil Seggos and bond act Czar Suzanna Randall.
