School and municipal election boundaries subject to new standards

September 11, 2023 – This summer, a state law quietly took effect that could radically change the elections boundaries used for municipalities and school districts all over New York. We discuss the law with David Imamura, former head of the state’s bipartisan redistricting commission, who is a lawyer for a group of downstate Hispanic voters trying to use the measure to have their town’s legislative maps redrawn.
