Wage theft collections lag under Hochul

September 6, 2023 – State labor officials are on track to recover more than $20 million in stolen wages this calendar year, but reporting by Max Parrott for New York Focus suggests that big number isn’t that impressive and questions whether the Hochul administration could do more to address wage theft in the Empire State.
