Narrowing environmental review scope on housing

May 30, 2023 – State Sen. Rachael May, a Syracuse Democrat, is proposing to narrow the scope of the state’s environmental quality review process for evaluating new housing in certain situations to ensure it is only judging the environmental ramifications of a project.
