New York’s missed opportunities to fight child poverty

March 16, 2023 – In 2022, New York policymakers set a goal of cutting child poverty in half over the next decade, but their budget priorities in 2023 could make that benchmark difficult to achieve, according to Jason Cone, chief public policy officer for Robin Hood, which works to combat poverty in New York City.
