State examines alternative pathways to high school diplomas

Dec. 7, 2022 – A new report on pathways to a high school diploma outside of New York is being used by state education officials to shape the future use of Regents exams for students. WestEd Senior Director of State Education Services Sarah Barzee, who oversaw the creation of the state commissioned report, talks about alternatives to Regents exams and the information education stakeholders believe is important to receive before graduating.
