New York poised to lower OT threshold for farmworkers
Sept. 8, 2022 – The state’s Farm Laborers Wage Board recommended gradually lowering the overtime threshold for farmworkers from 60 hours a week to 40 hours a week in 2031. We consider both sides of this issue with New York Civil Liberties Union’s Lisa Zucker and New York Farm Bureau President David Fisher, who served on the board.
