Sexual assault survivors get extra time for lawsuits

June 2, 2022 – Assemblymember Linda Rosenthal, a Manhattan Democrat, joins the show to discuss the Adult Survivors Act, which creates a one-year period for adults who suffered sexual assault to bring a civil claim against their alleged attacker in cases where the statute of limitations for civil action expired.
