Overhauling control of New York City schools

April 7, 2022 – State lawmakers are waiting to determine the fate of mayoral control of New York City school until after the state budget is adopted, so we turned to New York Civil Liberties Union Education Policy Center Director Johanna Miller for her thoughts on what the centralized rule should look like in the future.
