April 5, 2022 – In January, a new law was supposed to take effect requiring nursing homes adhere to minimum staffing ratios and funding levels set by state lawmakers and then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo in 2021, but Gov. Kathy Hochul repeatedly delayed the implementation of those requirements.
