March 22, 2022 – When it comes to detecting radon in homes and mitigating the risks of this harmful gas, New York is basically the wild wild west, with few standards or regulations, according to Dick Kornbluth, a member of the New York State Radon Task Force, which is scheduled to issue recommendations this year on limiting New Yorkers’ exposure to the gas.
