Step by Step: Hochul proposes Capitol investment

March 14, 2022 – For decades the grand steps on the eastern side of the Capitol in Albany have been in disrepair and they’ve been completely closed off to the public for more than six years, but the Times Union’s Josh Solomon reports that a $41 million investment in the historic stairs could finally address long festering structural concerns.
