New York’s hemp farmers to get into the marijuana business

Feb. 28, 2022 – Senate Agriculture Committee Chair Michelle Hinchey, an Ulster County Democrat, discusses a new law, which she sponsored in the Senate, that paves the way for hemp farmers to begin legally growing marijuana this spring for sale at retail stores in late 2022.
