State environmental police get first female director

Feb. 16, 2022 – In January, Karen Przyklek, a 26-year veteran of the state Department of Environmental Conservation’s law enforcement arm, was tapped to lead the division, becoming the first woman to hold the director post. She joins the show to discuss her career as an environmental police officer, including her undercover work and walking the beat in New York City, and explain her priorities for this new role.
