2-1-1 hotline connects New Yorkers to local services

Feb. 11, 2022 – New Yorkers in need of local social services can call 2-1-1 to find out what’s available in their area, but the program is in need of state funds in this year’s budget to remain in operation. VIA’s Kelly Dodd and United Way of Putnam and Westchester President & CEO Tom Gabriel make the case for a continued state investment in this public-private partnership.
