Libraries look to meet the digital demands of patrons

Jan. 12, 2021 – At the end of 2021, Gov. Kathy Hochul vetoed a bill that would have changed the bargaining dynamic between e-book publishers and public libraries that were looking to license the digital materials for their patrons.
