How much sunlight to expect from state transparency plans

Dec. 29, 2021 – In an attempt to promote transparency and distance herself from her predecessor, Gov. Kathy Hochul directed state agencies in the fall of 2021 to adopt transparency plans. We turned to transparency advocate Rachael Fauss, senior research analyst for Reinvent Albany, to dissect the plans and tell us how much more sunlight will actually get in.
