Closing the gaps in the unemployment safety net

Dec. 28, 2021 – The pandemic has illuminated the fact that there are New Yorkers ineligible to receive unemployment benefits, so a new campaign has been launched to expand this protection to more of the state’s workforce, including undocumented immigrants.
