New York hits milestone in contracting with marginalized business owners

Dec. 20, 2021 – New York has hit its goal for state contract spending directed to minority- and women-owned business enterprises, so we turned to Valerie White, executive director of LISC NYC, to consider what state policymakers should do moving forward to ensure traditionally marginalized business owners are able to grow and prosper.
