Nov. 4, 2021 – The role of the Regents exams in New York could be changing, as state education officials continue to assess the best ways of determining whether a student is prepared to graduate from high school. State Education Department Senior Deputy Commissioner for Education Policy Dr. Jim Baldwin explains the state of the review process and how they’re planning to deploy a $500,000 grant that funds a pilot program exploring alternatives to the Regents exams.
