Superintendents prepare for the return of in-person instruction

August 19, 2021 – After the Cuomo administration declined to issue pandemic guidelines for schools this fall, the state Education Department stepped in to the void. We consider what these recommendations, as well as a potential mask mandate, mean to local superintendents hoping to resume in-person instruction in a few weeks.
