New York’s eviction moratorium defanged by Supreme Court

August 18, 2021 – New York’s eviction moratorium has been dramatically undermined by a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling, according to Legal Aid Society staff attorney Ellen Davidson, who wants state lawmakers to adopt a new protection for tenants in response.
