After delay, state releases funds for vaccine outreach
August 6, 2021 – As part of the state’s ongoing effort to boost COVID-19 vaccination rates, the Cuomo administration recently released $15 million for outreach efforts, with about one-third of that going to Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies. Jennifer Jones Austin, the group’s CEO & Executive Director, explains how the money will be spent and reflects on the delayed rollout of the funds, which were authorized four months ago.
