Proposed state database would raise awareness of domestic abusers

July 8, 2021 – A group of domestic abuse survivors and support agencies have come together to push for legislation expanding the information available in a state database about New Yorker recently convicted of family offenses, so men and women won’t be caught unaware of a potential romantic partner’s domestic history.
