Democratic lawmakers eye ban of retail pet sales

April 30, 2021 – It’s time for the state Legislature to approve legislation banning the sale of cats, dogs and rabbits in retail pet shops, according to Bill Ketzer, senior director of state legislation for the Eastern Division of the ASPCA.
