Proposed expansion of paid family leave to cover remote learning

Nov. 19, 2020 – The need for child care in the state is even more pressing now that New York City has transitioned from in-person learning. Legislation from Asm. Michaelle Solages (D-Elmont) would expand the paid family leave program to help families as they deal with remote learning. We talked about the legislation with the Assemblymember when she joins the program.
