Doctors oppose increased awareness about how to report professional misconduct

Oct 2, 2020 – A bill is sitting on the Governor’s desk which would help New Yorkers report misconduct by doctors to the state’s medical conduct office. The Medical Society of the State of New York is calling on the Governor to veto the measure. Dr. Bonnie Litvack, President of the Medical Society of the State of New York, explained the organization’s opposition.
