Police chief warns of ‘adverse’ consequence of reform measures

Aug. 25, 2020 – In the wake of the killing of George Floyd, Governor Cuomo signed an executive order that requires localities to come up with a plan that reinvents and modernizes their police force. We discussed this requirement and the other police reforms passed by the state with Patrick Phelan, Chief of the Greece, NY Police Department and President of the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police.
