Farmworkers call for additional protections against COVID-19

Aug. 21, 2020 – Throughout the pandemic, we’ve heard about the hard work that front-line workers have been doing to keep society running. We heard about the troubling circumstances that farm workers have faced as they help get the food to our tables. We heard from Fabiola Ortiz Valdez, a worker advocate with The New York Immigration Coalition, and a Western New York farm worker.
