July 6, 2020: Mondaire Jones is poised to make congressional history

After a crowded primary, Mondaire Jones has emerged with a commanding lead for the Democratic nomination to succeed Nita Lowey in the 17th congressional district. If elected, Jones would be the first openly gay Black member of Congress. We met the candidate and discussed his priorities.
