June 30, 2020: PBS special chronicles the fight for women’s suffrage as centennial nears

This August will mark 100 years since women gained their voting rights with the ratification of the 19th Amendment. A new American Experience documentary, “The Vote”, looks back at the long fight for suffrage. We previewed a screening event happening tonight with Dr. Laurie Kozakiewicz, Lecturer of History at University at Albany, History Liaison for University in the High School Program.
