June 17, 2020: Iraq war veteran calls for end to police militarization

The protests over the killing of George Floyd while in police custody have created a dialogue on the level of funding that police departments across the country receive. In a recent op-ed, Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan (D), who served with the U.S. Army in Iraq, called for an end to the militarization of police departments. The County Executive joined the show to discuss this issue.
