May 12, 2020: Legislative responses to COVID-19 outbreak stalled

The COVID-19 pandemic has put a hold on many aspects of life in New York including the state legislative process. Sen. Jessica Ramos (D-Queens), chair of the Senate Labor Committee, discussed her bill proposal which seeks to protect workers from unsafe work conditions during COVID-19 and her frustration on the delayed legislative session.
