Sen. Jim Gaughran discusses fallout from bail reform

As the 2020 legislative session kicks off, we’re taking a look at the effort to reform one of 2019’s biggest legislative efforts, bail reform. Sen. James Gaughran (D-Northport), chair of the Senate Committee on Local Government, has proposed legislation that would reform parts of the bail legislation. The Senator stopped by the studio to discuss the legislation and the issues he is watching in 2020.
