For years, funds that were supposed to go to repairing New York’s roads and bridges have been diverted, leaving the infrastructure in a state of disrepair. Mike Elmendorf, President and CEO of the Association of General Contractors of New York State, and Fred Hiffa, former Deputy Department of Transportation Commissioner, discussed their push for more funding.
